Pressure Washer Skid with High Capacity Hose Reel

David came to us with a unique challenge.  He needed a self contained pressure washing system to service roof top Air Conditioning Units on million square foot warehouses.  This rig would often have to go into congested areas so a trailer was not an option.  Many areas he services will not have easy access to a water source so we have to have some water capacity.

The warehouses in Memphis can be absolutely huge with multiple Roof-top air conditioning units.  We wanted to minimize how often the operators had to climb ladders so we needed a huge capacity hose reel.

We worked with our fabricator to design a skid that could carry 200 gallons of water, an industrial belt drive pressure washer with electric start and a massive Hannay 500ft electric hose reel.

The pressure washer is a Karcher 4 Gallon per minute unit.  The new Karcher engine has a 4 year direct replacement warranty.  We tuned the machine to run at 1200 psi so it would not damage the cooling fins.  We went with electric start for ease of use and to eliminate difficult pull starting from the elevated position.

The Hannay electric rewind reel has a capacity of up to 500 feet of pressure hose.  It is powered by an oversized battery and protected by a circuit breaker.

The entire unit can be removed from the truck with a forklift.  This makes dropping the unit off for service quick and easy and it can free up the truck for other uses.
