Small Trailer for Big Jobs
Greg has been a long time customer and runs a successful contract cleaning business. His primary pressure washing rig is a tandem axle trailer with two hot water pressure washers. We needed to replicate the big units' performance but we needed a more compact unit that could more easily maneuver in tight parking lots. We needed to have the ability to wash a lot of flat work like parking lots, dumpster pads, and sidewalks, quickly with multiple operators.
To get the maneuverability we needed, we started with the Cat200 single axle trailer with a 200 gallon tank. We installed a Cougar LFT hot water pressure washer. This machine features a dependable Vanguard engine, 10-gallon fuel tanks, and a pump that puts out 5 gallons per minute at 3500 psi. For a second machine, we chose the Landa HD5-3000, This cold water pressure washer puts out 5 gallons per minute at 3000psi. This would be plenty of power for chemical application, rinsing operations, or moderate cleaning duty. The belt drive will add to the dependability, and the electric start eases operation.
Out back, we added hose reels from Hannay. Two of the reels are high-pressure units for the pressure washer. Because the tank is not very large and two machines demand plenty of water, we added a garden hose reel that can be connected to a spigot. The reel is plumbed to the tank through a float valve. This will keep the tank topped off during use without concerns of overfilling.
When you are on a big job, you will probably need stuff. Stuff like detergent, spare fittings, and tools. We added a tool chest to keep that stuff organized.
This cool little unit can go anywhere and has the power to clean anything.
