Since 1960, Cougar Chemical has provided the Mid-South with residential, commercial, and industrial cleaning equipment and supplies. We operate two full-service locations in Memphis and Nashville, TN. At those locations, we sell a huge variety of cleaning supplies. We are heavily invested in the automotive industry as we offer detailing supplies from many top brands but we don't stop there, we offer complete detergent lines for building contract cleaners, fleet management and industrial clients. If it needs cleaned, we have a detergent for that application.
The bulk of our equipment offering are centered around Landa Pressure Washers and Factory Cat Floor Scrubbers. Our expertise lies in custom cleaning systems where we evaluate client needs and assemble the equipment to fill the needs and budget.
We service any kind of cleaning equipment including pressure washers, floor scrubbers, car washes, wastewater systems, and dispensing systems. Our technicians have experience, professionalism and expertise beyond any organization within the industry.
Every member of our sales team is a cleaning expert. If you need help deciding how to accomplish any cleaning task, our team is here to guide you to the solution. Our outside team is always eager to set up a consultation at your facility.
Cougar Chemical maintains a robust and powerful rental fleet. For those times that you have a short term project rental can be the most cost effective way to use industrial grade equipment. For longer term needs, we partner with a variety of companies that can offer long term leases.

Cathy Fields- Controller I started working at Cougar in 2019 after spending over 25 years in the printing industry. I currently enjoy my time at Cougar as Controller and working with our team to create Raving Fans! When I’m not at Cougar, I spend most of my time with family. We have three children & six grandchildren. Doesn’t leave time for much else and I couldn’t be happier!

Amy Mitchell - Inside Sales I joined Cougar Chemical in 2023 after eight years in education. I traded my classroom for customer service, my bus for a forklift, and coaching for industrial cleaning! When you walk into Cougar, I am probably greeting you, and if you ever need to make a tough job easier, I'm happy to help you set up an equipment rental. When I'm not having fun at Cougar, I'm probably enjoying time with my husband John and our Trinity church family or goofing off with the North Mississippi Endurance team.

Michael Fields - Director of Marketing and Key Accounts. I joined Cougar in 2014. My background includes military service, sales and mortgage management. At Cougar Chemical, I am the guy that does about anything. I the inside sales representative for key accounts. I design and build custom cleaning equipment. I promote the Cougar brand by managing the website and the social media accounts. I use my photography, videography and editing skills to create engaging content. I build relationships with customers and insist on offering a level of quality that makes our clients never consider the competition. I sweep floors and take out trash.

Amanda McKee - Service Manager I am the service coordinator for Cougar, I’ve been here since 2018. Prior to joining the team, I worked within customer service at various levels throughout my career. I have four brothers so I’ve always been a bit of a tomgirl and mechanically inclined to some degree. I enjoy meeting our customers, helping build equipment, and learning about our products. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, camping, and riding dirt bikes.

Pam Scobey - Accounting I started with Cougar Chemical in June of 2019. Most of my experience comes from the accounting departments of a few automotive dealerships. At Cougar, I am the accounts receivable and accounts payable clerk. I ensure that funds are moved through the company accurately and timely. My time off I enjoy traveling, spending time with Family and friends.
