Portable Wash Skid for Nuclear Power Plant

Larry called with a cleaning need we don't hear everyday.  He is the contractor responsible for cleaning heat exchangers at a nuclear power plant.  Because security at the facility is difficult to navigate, he wanted something small and compact that would be easily and quickly inspected by security.  This ruled out a trailer.  When we decided on a detail skid, we then decided that it needed to be easily and quickly moved with a forklift.

We modified one of our Detail200 skids to have heavy-duty forklift channels so the skid can be quickly loaded and unloaded from a pickup truck.  To clean the heat exchangers, we decided to install a Landa HD Gas pressure washer putting out 4gpm at 4000 psi with electric start.  Because these exchangers are large, we installed a Landa Hose reel with 200ft of capacity.
