Enclosed Trailer with Hot Water Pressure Washer
This customer needed to wash his fleet of tractor trailers but he wanted the professional look and the security of an enclosed trailer. We worked with our partner trailer manufacturer to build a tandem axle trailer with dual side doors. The twin doors aid with air flow for the engine and accessibility for maintenance.
We started the build with Landa's PGDC Hot Water Pressure Washer. The PGDC uses a 12-volt DC burner assembly. The rugged skid frame offers robust cleaning performance specifications at an economical price. This self-contained workhorse can tackle virtually any outdoor cleaning project. With a reliable Vanguard gasoline engine, this machine can provide hours of continuous worry-free cleaning power.
Over the axle, we positioned a 500 gallon fresh water tank. Then we added a 50 gallon tank for an acid pre-soak detergent to be run through the pressure washer's low pressure detergent injection system. A second 50 gallon solution tank was installed next for an alkaline truck wash to be used with the pressure washer's High pressure injection system.
In the back of the trailer we added another 50 gallon tank with a 12 volt low pressure pump for applying degreaser to remove bugs or grease stains. Also in the back is a high pressure hose reel holding 200 feet of pressure hose and an industrial garden hose reel for easy refilling of the fresh water tank.
