All Business Pressure Washer Trailer
Brian had been working with his local pressure washing company to build a trailer system. He wanted to focus mostly on residential and light commercial cleaning jobs. He was tired of poor communication from his local dealer, so he reached out to Cougar and explained his situation. He was already behind and needed something quick.
Brian wanted a machine that was all business. He demanded portability but needed the option to run for long hours.
We elected to start the build with the Catamount200 trailer system. The 200 gallons of fresh water would be plenty for small or medium-sized jobs. For power, we went with the Landa HD Gas Series pressure washer that put out 4 gallons per minute at 4000 psi. This will provide plenty of performance for most jobs.
Out back, we prioritized function and durability with the hose reel selection. We chose the Hannay 1500 series manual reels. One reel is built from schedule 80 with a higher psi rating. The capacity is for up to 275 feet of high-pressure line. The other reel carries 50’ of garden hose. The reel is plumbed through a float valve in the tank. This setup provides for constant filling of the tank without the possibility of over – filling. This can provide for uninterrupted operation of the pressure washer with no concern of running out of water while connected to a spigot. For refills, there is no need to supervise the filling, it just stops automatically.
The Cougar team hustled and had the system built and ready for pickup in 1 day. Brian made the drive and picked up a mobile cleaning system that exceeded his expectations.
